The ED Pro weblog (link available to the right) made mention of a nationwide skills gap – where our emerging workforce is not being taught the skills that are necessary for our economy to remain competitive in the post-industrial age.

The link also mentions a book I have not yet read, "The 2010 Meltdown," that fleshes out the skill gap theory.  After looking over its Amazon reviews, I've got it on order.
