Live from Silver City led me to this website (and brochure) for New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson’s September 12-14 Summit on Economic Development.  The topic?  A “Convergence” theme if I ever saw one: “Creating Careers for the New Workforce.”

(Interesting side note: The cover photo is of a young mechanic working on an aircraft engine, and I see that a representative from New Mexico-based Eclipse Aviation wil be speaking during the conference.  From a competitive perspective, I can’t help but admire New Mexico’s place in the aviation industry, knowing that some in Indiana would like to see the Hoosier state jump into this industry.)
